A CHRISTMAS TREE FROM POLAND ON ST. PETER SQUARE IN ROME

.

A spruce from the Romincka Forest has been cut and is on its way to Rome where it will decorate St. Peter Square as a Christmas tree. The tree is 92 ft high and the base diameter is about 29 ft. The tree will reach the Vatican on November 22nd after traveling 1,280 miles. This is the second time that a Polish Christmas tree has stood in Rome. The first one stood in Rome 20 years ago!
